Growth hormone-releasing hormone receptor (GHRH-R) and its signaling (Halmos G et al., 2025)
Description
Sermorelin is a synthetic 29-amino-acid peptide corresponding to the biologically active N-terminal fragment of human growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH 1-29).
It has been studied in clinical research as a GHRH receptor agonist that stimulates endogenous growth hormone secretion from the anterior pituitary. It has been used historically as a diagnostic tool to assess GH reserve and was investigated for adult and pediatric GH deficiency.
It is used as a reference GHRH agonist in research on the somatotropic axis.
For research purposes only. Not for human consumption.
